The Scientific Production Center GEOSTRA, limited liability company is the affiliated branch of Bashneftgeofizika. It was founded in 2007 on the basis of Processing and Interpretation Center functioning within Bashneftgeofizika for more than 45 years.
It is equipped with up-to-date hardware-software complexes to perform tasks in the following spheres: - Processing and interpreting seismic data 2D, 3D, VSP, offset VSP for prospecting, exploration and supplementary exploration of oil and gas fields.
- Processing and interpreting field geophysical survey data for wells which are being drilled (logging survey) and monitoring over development of operating oilfields. - Supervisor control over surface field seismic jobs, processing and interpreting of seismic projects. |

Seismic stratigraphy analysis, dynamic, paleotectonic and lithofacies analyses data enable to create 3-dimensional geological models, evaluate hydrocarbons reserves and resources, set up objects for prospect and exploratory drilling, give recommendations for optimum field production.
